rs: You Forget and Mistook

There's only one description for Chestnut Juno that truly fits: unexpected. That is because of the relatively small amount of music Chestnut Juno has made. No two songs by Chestnut Juno sound much alike. "Every go-around I practically reinvent myself, but one thing always remains constant: the Juno 60, the synth I use that I inherited from my late uncle."

"Like many others I first fell in love with the endless possibilities of electronic music because of the one and only Joy Electric. That sound, so fantastical and unique, which still remains the only thing like it even after exploring what else is out there, is my major influence in music making. "

"I had originally to chosen to cover Mistook and The Dark Ages. I chose these two songs because they both had a common theme lyrically and because they are both lesser-known songs. Running into a little recording rut I decided last-minute to swap The Dark Ages for You Forget, and sticking with that criteria I believe it worked out quite nicely. Never satisfied to sit in one place for very long, I've attempted especially in these two songs to combine electronic sounds with more organic sounds... well whether that's apparent or not that's the direction I'm in right now though it'll probably be different by the time whatever's next is ready to be finished."
